Hey gang, can't believe it's been a year since our 2007 reunion.
For those I didn't talk to at the reunion.....
What have I been up to? Eh, same old, same old. Many of you know, 6 weeks after graduation my father died. I ended up at SPJC then FSU (go Noles!) where I met my wife, Stephanie. We married in early 1987, and have been in Virginia ever since. I've worked primarily in the financial services and corporate finance area, got my MBA, a few other meaningless designations, but mostly have had fun with my kids. I got into DJing about 7-8 years ago because they are swimmers and I started playing music at swim meets. Now I mostly do weddings (yes, I am the tacky wedding DJ.....) but I still crank it up and do sweet 16s and might even do my son's high school homecoming this year.
Our daughter starts college this year (2008) at the University of Virginia. Not sure how I feel about that. One, I am getting old. Two, who do I pull for when they play FSU? Oh, in case there was any doubt, she scored over 400 points higher on her SAT than her old man, even before including the new writing section!
Our son will finish high school in 2010. He was district champion in backstroke his freshman and sophomore years, and even qualified for Virginia State champs this year.
